Can You See Me – @Wattpad

“My curse will be lifted if I find true love. I wish it was that easy because in my case no one can even see me, so falling in love with me was out of question.”

Tristyn Moore – A guy with an appeasing personality & confidence higher than the sky. Iorwen Haywell – The tomboy of her town yet a wonderful and beautiful young lady. For some reason she has never dated and is like invisible to the opposite gender. Can two invisible people finally be able to see and believe in each other? Well, you’ll have to read ‘Can You See Me’ to find out.

Well, I ought to say that Wattpad is one of the best book reading apps I have ever come across. Not only does it gives you free access to books but also provided you with a variety of books in every genre. All you have to do, is sign up. And then, you are the king or the queen of the world of books. You must give it a try, everyone!

It was about time I read another fantasy novel. So as soon as I laid my eyes upon the book and read the enthralling summary, I decided that I ought to read it. And frankly guys, it was the best decision I made, because I definitely do not regret reading such an astonishing book but I sure as hell would have regretted missing it for anything. Well, enough about me. Let’s get started about the book now, shall we?

So, this is the first book in the ‘Can you series’. About a curse that can only be broken by true love. I must admit that I was highly expecting this book to be a cliché – something that is akin to the beauty and the beast. Cause breaking of a curse by true love, seriously!? But oh well. On the contrary, the book has an amazingly mollifying plot with a tinge of suspense and absolute humor.

The character of Iorwen Haywell aka the female protagonist is more like a tomboy and a kick – ass! She is the kind of a person who is tough and strong. Just the kind of female character I like in such novels.

And, and, and, what would be the use if we don’t talk about the handsome and dashing blue eyed boy? Our very own Tristyn Moore… Well, this guy is like any other cliché bad boy.

Being a playboy? Check!

Being a heartbreaker? Check!

Narcissist? Check!

Cocky attitude? Check!

Deviously charming looks? Well… Double check!!!

The only thing that makes our playboy stand apart in the crowd is his sense of humor. The kind only Tristyn Moore can possess.

Over and all, the book was intriguing and held within itself to keep you imprisoned in the world of Tristyn and Iorwen. The capability to hold your interest and not let you put down the book, even for a single minute.

Mysteries, misdirection, and riddles abound! It’s time for Tristan to either lift up the curse or to lose the only girl who can lift the curse for him. The choice is his. But once a playboy, is always a playboy. So what are you waiting for? Download the app & read this wonderful piece of fantasy. I cannot assure you that you will LOVE it… but, I can definitely assure you that the time you give to this book, will be worth and you will definitely enjoy the journey of Tristyn and Iorwen.

So…Until then! Bye guys!

Rushed – @Wattpad

“If I give you fifty reasons why I like you, & then, I’ll let you decide if me being me is not enough.”

Dylan Rush! The Hollywood heart throb! A person with an extremely cocky attitude & a smirk which practically seems to be glued to his face. His undeniably *cough* charming *cough* personality & angelic looks which makes the female population of the world drool all over him, just act like a cherry on the cake.

Alexandra Hunt! A normal…well… not so normal girl with an impressive mixture of sass, sarcasm & swag. What happens when two utterly different personalities bump into each other…like literally! Read rushed to find out.

This was a book which captured my attention real bad and real quick. The characters were superb and the plot was different from most of the teen fiction novels.

The character of Alex was determined and fierce. She held the personality of an independent woman which is what made me like – no love – this book. The girl character in teen fiction novels is generally the whiny and awkward types.

The plot twists were excruciating… in a good way though. Whenever things were going on the track, something abysmal happens and whoosh! This leads to a plot twist. Though I won’t say that I loved this book from bits to pieces but yeah! It was definitely better than all those annoyingly cliché novels where the protagonists have an overnight realization of love at first sight. I mean according to me, it is completely unnecessary.

Also, I loved the flow of the book. Since, it kept a perfect pace and did not linger over a single issue for long. There was not one moment in the novel when I thought that nothing actually is going on. I literally could not put the book down and loved the way the author narrated the story.

Over and all, this should be a book which can be read ad enjoyed by anyone and everyone. I highly recommend this book especially to people who are keen for some drama, adventure and opposites do attract kind of thing.

My dear readers…! Rushed was a Hate story, soon turned into a Love Blockbuster! How? Well, this is for me to know and for you to read and find out.

Psst… this story features a total drool worthy guy who will make you swoon because of his angelic looks and cry tears of laughter due to his attitude. Keep an eye out for this boy. He can definitely mess up your emotions… Just saying though.

So friends, read Rushed and get ready to be teleported into the crazy world of Dylex!

Paper Towns – John Green

“It is so hard to leave—until you leave. And then it is the easiest goddamned thing in the world.”

Quentin Jacobsen is your average teenager. A nerd who loves a girl – Margo Roth Spielgelman – who, he believes, is unattainable. But what he doesn’t know is that Margo is not the person he knows or even loves for that matter. One night, she just goes missing. Gone like a whoosh of a wind. Quentin is hell bent on finding Margo. Will he find her or will he be too late… Read Paper towns to get the answers to your questions.

I actually have to admit that I knew nothing about Paper towns until stumbling upon this book. Though after reading it, I can say that it was better this way. Without knowing the gist of the novel, you understand it better. If I had known what the novel was about, I would know what to expect next and this would have made the book boring for me.

So, Paper Towns is another fabulous book written by the famous YA author ‘John Green’. I believe that his authentic way of writing from the perspective of any teenager’s mind is a gift and also, one of the many reasons to his grand success. The plot of this story was very cleverly written.

The characters of this book is what makes it so popular among the youth. Quentin and his friends felt real. They were not just the creation of mere imagination. They had some reality in them. On the other hand, Margo was a completely imaginary character (reading the entire book, I now know that it was extremely important to show her in this manner).

I, being a teenager, could definitely relate to them proving this book to be a success because that is what the motto of any author is – to relate the readers and characters.

In this book, John Green puts up tons of stereotypes and peels back the layers to reveal the people beneath. How she was noticed yet so unnoticed at the same time.

This story was one hell of a journey but it definitely raises many questions – how well do you know your friends? Do they actually let out what they feel? Do they hide more scars than you could possibly imagine? These were some of the answers which I received in this book.

Another thing I got from John Green books, this being the second book I read, did not have a crappy cliché happy ending. Rather, it gave a more realistic and satisfactory ending. The climax was something I was not expecting. But well, now I do understand that this ending was necessary. Margo was amped up in Quentin’s mind as an unattainable more – than – human – species. When in reality, she was just a normal teenager wishing to find herself in this crowd of people.

Margo’s character held a very complex personality. She had different views from various people. Some considered her quiet while the others considered her very cheeky. This was the entire idea of the book – to decipher the true personality of Margo.

The metaphors in the book were beyond any words. They were simply flawless. I never got it how John Green views the world from such a wonderful perspective. Hats off to you, sir!

The only criticism I have is that in the middle, the pace became extremely slow. Nothing was actually going on in the novel. But on the brighter side, there were many laugh out loud moments which I was, honestly, not expecting.

I could actually just go on and on about the impeccability of this book but I think I should just stop right here (shouldn’t spoil it for you all, right).  To conclude, this is a book which will leave you pondering upon today’s orthodox and stereotypical society. Like any other John Green book, you will learn loads about the characters but most probably, a lot about yourself as well... With John Green being the controller, this journey of the Paper Towns will be more than just memorable…
